Valora

Illustration
Valora is a mobile wallet built on the Celo blockchain, aimed to make sending and receiving money borderless, secure and fast. I worked with a team of visual and product designers on this project to develop a new art style for the app’s onboarding experience.

This was an opportunity to evolve the brand and show personality in the ways only design can. What made this project great was having the freedom to explore a wide range of directions, and being intentional with the drawing style.

ILLUSTRATIONS
Characters, shapes, and background shapes are components that make up each illustration. The visuals are unique, bring Valora’s story to life, and set up a flexible visual framework.

Characters hold and share value. They are relaxed, often walking, lounging, or interacting with others. Shapes represent value, and are often held by characters. Background shapes complete the composition, and can also be used to add context to locations or environments.
